Good morning, muffin

Yup! Another breakfast post:)


Erm, going to school anytime now, so no time to put up recipe.. But it involves buttermilk and peaches. So many peaches that it swelled our muffin batter to double its original volume! So we had to bake 2 batches..

First batch was great! Soft centre, crunchy crust.. Second batch was abit weird though. There was smoke coming out of the muffin centre, so i thought they were burning, and took them out.. But the sides were still so white! And the centre of the muffin was like biscuit lor.. weird^^

We made hardcore muffins!! YeaH!

Two crumpets for breakfast is one too many

Haven't had crumpets since the last time i was in Perth, i was just 11 then! So when i saw these at the supermarket, i HAD to get some:)

Toasted 'em, smothered 'em in hazelnut spread.. Add a cup of milk, and a cup of hot soup.. Breakfast is served!

Gloomy Autumn Day

Dark and gloomy today..

Woke up before everyone and had things to buy. So i left Yilun a note and went shopping in the city by myself. After getting my stuff, i thought since i'm already in the city, might as well explore abit. Before i knew it, it was already evening, and my tummy was rumbling, so i went home.

While waiting for dinner to heat up, i suddenly realised how quiet the house was. And I hadn't spoken to anyone all day. So strange. And melancholic.

But i kinda like it though. Today i am a hermit.. tomorrow i will be me again:)

Oh, talk about healthy, this morning i had yogurt with cut peaches and crumbled oat biscuits! So healthy right? I also cannot believe i'm so inspired to eat well!

Anyway, we just dumped everything in the pot, threw in a cocktail of seasonings, let it cook and went mandi..

First Day In Leicester!!

Good morning! I actually went to bed at 10pm last night coz i had nothing else to do..
Both my housemates had to sleep early coz they had class this morning. So we locked up at 8.30pm( the sun was still out!) and they went to their rooms to study&sleep..



By 6am I couldn’t sleep anymore, the sun was already up! I tot I overslept lo, so disorienting. Wanted to blog then.. but got hooked chatting on Skype and I forgot the time:p
